Hey there, Rebecca!
Thank you so much for coming to planDisney with your question! I'm sorry to hear that you were "unavoidably detained by pranky spirits" and could not make your original Disneyland Resort reservation. Thankfully, the system is pretty forgiving and you should be able to reschedule your visit fairly easily.
The answer to your question is that you have until the expiration date of your ticket to schedule another reservation. The expiration date will depend on when you originally purchased your ticket but they generally have a very long shelf life. This information can be found in the Disneyland Confirmation email that you received after purchasing your ticket. If you are unable to locate the message, you may call
Disneyland Ticket Services and a Cast Member can help you out.
However, if circumstances are such that you are unable to plan another visit to the Disneyland Resort for quite some time, you still have some flexibility. Per the
Terms and Conditions, the cost of an unused, expired ticket may be applied towards the purchase of a new ticket of equal or greater value. If and when you do reschedule, please be aware of the
Tier 0 dates and know that you might need to upgrade your ticket if you are looking to visit on a higher Tier date (call
Disneyland Ticket Services to upgrade).
Rebecca, I certainly hope that you will be able to plan another trip to the Happiest Place on Earth soon! The
Disney100 Celebration is set to kick off this year and
Mickey's Toontown is reopening with an all new attraction,
Mickey & Minnie's Runaway Railway! There's so much happening this year and you won't want to miss any of it!
I hope you found this information helpful and thanks again for visiting us at planDisney! Feel free to come by anytime if you have any other questions!
Have a Magical Day!
