Hi there, Kaylie!
Thanks for stopping by planDisney with your question! I'm sure it's not an easy decision when deciding whether or not you need to alter your plans to visit
The Most Magical Place on Earth, so I'm happy to provide some insight into the options that are available to you.
Unfortunately,
theme park tickets and passes are nontransferable and nonrefundable. However, you do have the option to change the date of your ticket should you need to modify your original plans. You can either make this change before your vacation if you have definite dates for a future visit or because Walt Disney World Resort understands that even miracles take a little time, you have the option of allowing your unused ticket to lapse past the expiration date and apply the price in your account to a new ticket. I just verified with a helpful Cast Member that the
Memory Maker option will remain linked to your account for use on a future vacation. Additionally, if the new dates for your tickets have higher ticket prices than your original ticket, you would be responsible for the difference when making your selection.
To modify the tickets through your
My Disney Experience account, you would visit 'Tickets, Passes & Memory Maker' under your 'My Plans' tab, locate your tickets, and then select 'Change Ticket.' If you are having difficulties or any questions arise during the process, a friendly Cast Member at the
Existing Tickets Line would be more than happy to help.
When you do begin your vacation, Kaylie, be sure to take advantage of your Memory Maker advance purchase by stopping at any Disney Photopass photographers you see, and ask about
magic shots they offer. You might be treated to a bit of pixie-dusted surprises in a few photos, and you'll never regret capturing those magical memories.
I hope this was helpful, Kaylie! Feel free to (park)
hop back by with any additional questions you may have!
Cheers to 2024,
Lizzie
