What is the cancellation policy for Fort Wilderness campsites? I am a local annual passholder so don't need tickets/transportation/etc. I'm looking to tent camp as a "staycation" but have a small possibility I will need to cancel/modify.

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Sarah!

I think a "staycation" sounds like a wonderful idea!  The relaxing atmosphere of Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort takes you away from the hustle and bustle and is a great way to recharge your batteries for a few days.

It is completely understandable that your plans may change.  The Campsites at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort have the same cancellation policy as other Disney Resort Hotels, and are eligible for all the same vacation benefits.  Room-only, or in this case campsite-only, reservations may be cancelled 5 or more days prior to your arrival without penalty.  Vacation packages that include tickets and/or other components must be cancelled 30 days or more prior to arrival to avoid penalty.  To cancel your reservation, please call Disney Travel Operations at 407-560-CHAT (2428).

Be sure to check out the current Annual Passholder Special Offers to see if any might apply to the days you are planning to stay.  The holiday season is just getting started at Walt Disney World Resort, and should be in full swing by the time of your staycation.

Please visit the Moms Panel again with any additional questions you may have.  We are always happy to help.  Have a wonderful stay!
