What is the cancelation policy for DCL? Looking to book a cruise in March 2015. Right now we r about 80% we can go. Don't know if we should book and now risk canceling. Or wait a few months to book and risk the staterooms we want filling up.

Welcome aboard, Kris! I'm happy to hear that you are considering booking a magical sailing with Disney Cruise Line next year! There is so much to experience onboard and in the ports of call, no matter which of Disney's ships you'll be sailing on. And for my family, planning is half the fun! There is so much to explore on Disney Cruise Line's website as you plan. Isn't it exciting to get started?

Depending on when you will know for sure if you can go, it's not a bad idea to go ahead and book now. You'll have a better selection of staterooms in various categories and locations around the ship, plus you'll have more time to plan! Take a look at the Cancelation Policy for Disney Cruise Line on their Terms and Conditions page. You'll see that for most cruises which are less than 10 days long, guests can cancel up to 75 - 45 days before sailing though your deposit would not be refunded. The closer you get to sailing, the more fees you'll incur for canceling. No matter what, it's good to cancel or move sail dates as early on as possible. Better yet, choose a great date now and keep it! I promise you'll have an amazing vacation!

Honestly, though, if you wait a few months from now so that you can be assured of choosing the right date, you'll most likely still find plenty of staterooms available. In my experience, no matter which stateroom you choose, you'll still enjoy a fabulous vacation!

I hope those details help, Kris! Happy planning!
