I had to cancel a trip earlier this year, so I have unused tickets. We would now like to book for a November trip. How do I get credit for these tickets??

Welcome to planDisney, Shellie! A Holiday visit to the Walt Disney World Resort sound dreamy to me! Thanks for stopping in with your planning question!

You can absolutely receive a credit for those unused tickets! I have been right where you are, having to cancel a trip. It’s a little bit of a process, so I will give you all the details.

Send an email to WDW Guest Services- Ticket Usage at ticket.usage@DisneyWorld.com including the following items:

-Confirmation numbers you received when you purchased the tickets

    -Include your name

-Daytime telephone number where you can be reached

-Where and when the ticket was purchased

    -Purchaser’s name

    -Form of payment used

Explain your situation in the email and within a few days, a Cast Member will reach out to you. Disney will send you a new confirmation number. Just link that number to your My Disney Experience account and go ahead and assign those tickets to guests in your party. Let the November planning begin!

If you have any other questions, you can always call the Resort at (407) 939-5277. The earlier in the morning you make that call, the better. When I have a ticket issue to resolve, I call right at 7 a.m.

Shellie, I hope you have all the information you need to start planning your next visit. Please don’t hesitate to come back to see us if you have any more questions. It’s always our pleasure to help you!
