I had to cancel my room reservation for my trip in November. When can I expect to see the refund for the first night?

Welcome to planDisney, Samantha, where we love providing Guests like you with answers to their Disney vacation questions. I am so sorry to hear that you had to cancel your Walt Disney World Resort room reservation for November. It never feels good to have to cancel a vacation, and I hope you can enjoy a visit to The Most Magical Place on Earth sometime soon.

I, too, have had to cancel my magical plans to stay in a Disney Resort hotel. While it officially could take up to two billing cycles before you see the refund on your bank or credit card statement, I have never experienced it taking that long to receive my refund. You will more than likely see the refund post to your account around 7 to 10 business days. If you need further assistance regarding your refund status, you can call (407) 828-5630 to speak with a Cast Member.

I hope you receive your refund quickly and that you can plan to reschedule your Disney vacation soon! If you have any more questions, please stop back by planDisney, where we are always here and eager to help!
