If I have to cancel my reservations due to my husband having surgery, when can I cancel and still get my money back?

    Hi there, Judith.

I am so sorry to hear about your husband's possible surgery. Hopefully, once he is all healed up you will be able to celebrate his return to health at the Most Magical Place on Earth.

According to the cancelation policy for your Walt Disney World Resort vacation package, you will need to cancel 30 days or more in advance of your check-in date to receive a full refund, minus any third-party imposed fees or travel insurance, if applicable.

If you need to cancel 2-29 days before your check-in date you will receive a full refund minus a $200 cancellation fee.

If you cancel less than 2 days in advance, you will not be eligible for any type of refund.

Please note that payment terms and conditions of payment are subject to change.

Judith, I recommend that you cancel at least 30-days in advance if possible to ensure your full refund.

You can easily cancel your vacation through your My Disney Experience Account by going into "My Plans" and "Cancel Reservation" or by calling (407) 934-7639.

I hope that your husband has a swift recovery and my thoughts are with you! When you are ready to come back to the magic, we will be here waiting for you.
