Hey there, hi there, ho there, Robin!
Thank you for stopping by planDisney! I am sorry to hear that your plans to visit the Disneyland Resort have changed! I’d be happy to help clarify this for you.
Disneyland theme park tickets are typically
non-refundable. However, all is not lost! If you have a
standard ticket, you can change your theme park reservation to another date. The easiest way to do this is through the Disneyland
mobile app. Here’s how:
- Tap the main menu icon (≡) in the bottom right corner.
- Scroll down to the “Plan My Next Visit” section.
- Tap “Park Reservations.”
- Scroll down to the “Upcoming Theme Park Reservations” section.
- Choose "Modify Reservation."
- Select the members of your party who will be modifying their park reservation.
- Choose the new date by selecting an available date on the park reservations calendar.
- Choose the theme park you want to start your visit at for that day.
- Click "Continue."
If you’re not sure when you will be able to visit, book the furthest date available for now. Once you have finalized your new plans, you can always modify the reservation again.
Bonus Tip: I recommend changing your theme park reservation as soon as possible. Best practice is to cancel and rebook your reservation by 11:59 PM (Pacific Time) on the day before your current reservation. If you miss this deadline, you'll need to wait until the day after your original reservation date passes before you can rebook.
Robin, I hope this information was helpful and that you’re able to get this resolved very soon. Feel free to come see us again here at planDisney if you have any additional questions!
Sending you faith, trust, and pixie dust,
Karmeen
