Ahoy, Mary!
Welcome aboard, planDisney, and thank you for your question. I'm glad your crew is planning to venture ashore on your Disney Cruise Line sailing. One of the best perks of cruising is waking up to a new, exciting destination each day. And the best way to learn and explore these ports is to secure a
port adventure and let Disney Cruise Line take care of all the details.
Mary, my best solution to your question is to
call Disney Cruise Line because I do not want your group to lose out on the opportunity, as the system does not allow for one person to be removed at this time. I've also been able to do this onboard, but the excursion was more than three days away from my embarkation date, so my timing did not fall within the cancellation period. Agents are available to help Monday-Friday, 8:00 am to 10:00 pm, and Saturday and Sunday, 9:00 am to 8:00 pm EST. The number is 1(800) 951-3532. It will also allow the fourth member of your group to make alternative plans for that day. My crew has split up before, since there are so many options to select from each port of call, and there's peace of mind when booking through Disney Cruise Line.
Since your port adventures are booked, your vacation must be around the corner. Be sure your crew has all downloaded the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app before arriving at the cruise terminal. This will help you all stay connected via the chat feature and plan all your onboard fun. I love logging in as we wait to board so I can start favoriting all my must-dos. I also make sure to use it on the last day of my cruise to
book a future cruise or placeholder, so I have something to look forward to when I sadly step off the ship to go home. It's so convenient to secure that in the app.
Mary, it was a pleasure helping you with your plans. Wishing you a voyage filled with magic and pixie dust!
