How can I cancel my planned trip that's is have already paid for.

Thanks for contacting planDisney with your question, Amber! I'm so sorry to hear that you need to cancel your Disneyland Resort trip. Not to worry...I'm happy to help!

Disneyland Resort's cancelation policy depends on how your room is booked. If you booked a Vacation Package, including your accommodations and theme park tickets, you can cancel 30 days or more in advance without a fee. If you cancel 29-2 days before arrival, there is a $200 cancellation fee. If canceled 1 day or less from arrival, you will, unfortunately, forfeit the entire cost of the package. I recommend calling the Walt Disney Travel Company at (714) 520-5060, and the Cast Members can help further explain the policies and procedures. However, if you have a "Room Only" reservation, you'll need to notify Disneyland Resort at (714) 956-6425 at least five days before arrival. The cancellation fee is one day's hotel charge if it is four days or fewer before your check-in date. Also, there is no change fee if you'd rather just reschedule your originally planned stay (although the price may increase).

Unless purchased with a package, Disneyland theme park tickets are unfortunately non-refundable. However, you may have some flexibility in applying the amount you paid for a ticket that's still wholly unused towards future tickets. Call Disneyland Ticketing at (714) 781-4636 to discuss your options.

Amber, I hope you're able to get everything straightened out. Remember, you've got a friend in me. Please write back if there's anything else you need!
