Hi Debbie!
Thanks for stopping by planDisney with your question. Bummer that you have to cancel your placeholder booking. A
placeholder is always an excellent consolation when disembarking one Disney cruise, knowing that a potential second voyage is soon to be on the horizon!
Since you feel you will not be able to use your placeholder that you paid for in March 2020, then my recommendation is to
call Disney Cruise Line, and a Cast Member will be able to issue you a refund of your placeholder deposit. But be aware that your placeholder may have been extended out until May 2022 if that might somehow mean you are able to still cruise with Captain Mickey. If that extra time doesn’t give you an opportunity to sail, then by all means, get your refund.
Hopefully in the near future you will be able to make a Disney cruise work for your travel plans. I have three scheduled right now, and I am counting down the days! Please come back to
planDisney if we can help you put a Disney itinerary on your calendar.
SEA ya real soon!
Sherry
