How do I cancel a placeholder that I am not going to need?

    Hi Rhonda,

Thanks for sailing by planDisney with your question.

I just recently canceled a Disney Cruise Line onboard booking placeholder reservation, too. I'm hopeful this doesn't mean you won't be booking another fabulous vacation, however. I'll keep my fingers crossed you will see where the sky meets the sea again soon! If not, no worries! You can call Disney Cruise Line and have your placeholder reservation refunded to your original form of payment.

There are so many new options for a Disney Cruise on the horizon, Rhonda, with new itineraries through Spring 2026. You can also explore two new ships! Disney Treasure begins sailing in December and Disney Destiny will explore the big blue world in November 2025! These ships and Disney Adventure based in Singapore will open up a whole new world for Guests. You may want to check out these great options before you cancel your placeholder.

As you dream about a future vacation, let us know if you have any questions. We are here to help!

    Wishing you many magical memories,
    Shannon

Meet the Panelist: Shannon, Georgia

Hi! I'm a dreamer and doer who loves exploring the big blue world! My love for Disney began at Walt Disney World Resort and after my first Disney Cruise Line vacation I was hooked. I especially enjoy the ships' adult-exclusive spaces and activities while experiencing the magic only Disney can create. A Land and Sea vacation combining an action-packed Walt Disney World Resort visit and a relaxing Disney Cruise Line voyage is my favorite way to do Disney. I can't wait to help you create your magical memories! Learn More About Shannon
