    How do I cancel a park reservation?

    Thanks for asking your question to planDisney!

    You can certainly cancel your park reservation selection, and I am glad to help.

    Before you start, however, I have a suggestion. If you are planning to change that reservation to a different park for that day, make sure that you confirm that the park you want to switch to has availability, based on your ticket type. Just check the Disney Park Pass Availability Calendar for your respective dates. 

    Next, go to your My Disney Experience account and select "My Plans". You can find this at the top right of the Walt Disney World website menu. Find the reservation that you want to change and click on "View Details". On the next page, you will want to click on "Cancel This Reservation", selecting all the guests for whom you wish to cancel. 

    Now all you have to do is go in to make the updated theme park reservations, as you did before, with your new park selections.

    BONUS TIP
    Make sure when you check for park availability that you choose the right type of ticket. The three choices are

    1. Theme Park Tickets - this applies to someone with standard theme park tickets who likely is not staying at a Disney Resort hotel
    2. Select Resort Hotels - this selection is for ticket holders staying at Disney Resort hotels and select other hotels
    3. Annual Passes - Obviously this choice is for Annual Pass holders
