Welcome to planDisney! We purchased Lightning Lane Passes on our last visit to Disney World, and they were a fabulous way to maximize the number of attractions and rides we got to experience in a day. I love that you can make reservations ahead of time to accommodate any advanced dining reservations or other plans you may have.

Lightning Lane passes are non-refundable and non-transferable. You do have the option to modify your pass or change the date you use it if that works better for you. If you choose to make modifications, this can be done directly in the
My Disney Experience app. Navigate to the Lightning Lane Passes option at the top right of the screen and select that tile. Tap the Lightning Lane Multi Pass that you want to modify and select "Modify Lighting Lane Multi Pass" from the pop-up. Follow the prompts to check out and modify your reservation. If your new date or theme park is more expensive, you must pay the difference at check out. If you are already at Disney World you may want to speak with a cast member at Guest Services. They can make changes for you and give you advice on the best way to make a modification.
Since you are visiting during the most magical time of the year, make sure you check out all of the holiday decorations, treats, and events during your visit.
Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party is the event of the season with a parade featuring Santa Claus and snow on Main Street. It is a must-do for our family during this time of year and is a great way to kick off the holiday season. Every time I see Magic Kingdom all dressed up for the holidays, I can't wait to get home and decorate my house too!
