Welcome to planDisney, Gary!
Thank you for bringing your question our way.
I’m so sorry you’re having to cancel your
Disney Resort hotel reservation. I understand that sometimes plans change. I hope you find comfort in knowing that the magic will be here and waiting when you are ready to visit!
Gary, if you have a room-only reservation, you may be able to
cancel it online through your My Disney Experience account. To do this, please head to the
Walt Disney World Resort website, and hover over the
My Disney Experience logo on the top right. From the drop-down menu, you will want to select
My Plans. Next, scroll down to locate your reservation, and next to it, you should see a link to
Cancel Reservation, which you’ll want to select. Then, please follow the prompts to finish canceling your reservation.
If, for any reason, you do not see the option to cancel your reservation, I recommend you give a friendly Cast Member at
Disney Resort Hotel Reservations a call, and they’ll be able to look into your reservation to help you.
Please remember that if you’ve booked a
Vacation Package, which includes a Disney Resort hotel stay and theme park tickets, they can be canceled or modified up to 30 days from your arrival date for a full refund. If you modify it from 2 to 29 days, there is a $200 cancelation fee, though prices are subject to change.
We can’t wait to welcome you to the magic when you’re ready, Gary!
Aena
