Can I cancel my Disneyland park tickets?

Greetings to you, Angie! Welcome to planDisney and thanks for coming to us with your question.

Oh, bother. I'm sorry to hear that you need to change your plans regarding an upcoming Disneyland Resort trip. I do hope that you'll be able to visit at some point in the future.

As per the Disney eTicket Terms and Conditions, tickets are nonrefundable once purchased. Theme Park Tickets generally have a long shelf-life, though, so hopefully you will have the opportunity to use them in the future. Even if the tickets are allowed to expire, Disney will still allow you to apply the cost of wholly unused, expired tickets towards the purchase of a new ticket as long as the amount paid for the new ticket is equal or greater than the cost of the original.

It's a great year to visit the Disneyland Resort, so I encourage you to make the effort to use those tickets! The Disney100 Celebration decorations have transformed Disneyland Park and Tiana's Palace is making its way to New Orleans Square later this year. As Walt Disney once said, "Disneyland will never be completed. It will continue to grow as long as there is imagination left in the world."

I hope that answer was informative for you, Angie, and that you do get to visit the Happiest Place on Earth this year. Please let us know if there is anything else that planDisney can do for you because we'd love to chat with you again!

    Have a Magical Day!

Meet the Panelist: Al, California

Ahoy there from the heart of Steinbeck Country in central California! I've been visiting the Disneyland Resort since childhood and fell in love with the sense of absolute immersion that the Imagineers have achieved. My favorite attraction is Pirates of the Caribbean because where else can you go from a California day to an evening boat ride in the bayou with "salty old pirates"? I'm a veterinarian and an all-around Disney geek and enthusiast. I'd love to help you plan your next Disneyland trip! Learn More About Al
