Welcome to planDisney, Alyssa!
Thank you for bringing your question about the reservation system to our corner of the Disney universe. I’m so sorry your little prince isn’t feeling well! I know plans can change and it can be difficult to navigate the reservation system for the Disneyland Resort at first, so I’m on the job, you big nabob. You ain't never had a planDisney friend like me!
Alyssa, if you’re using theme park
tickets and you are not part of the
Magic Key program, you have until the clock strikes midnight the evening before your visit to cancel your
theme park reservations. After that, if you cancel your reservation on the day you were scheduled to visit or never scan your ticket that day, you cannot make a new reservation until the following day.
But Alyssa, suppose you stay one jump ahead of your reservation and cancel it before the day of. In that case, you can make a whole new reservation up to 120 days in advance (as long as your theme park ticket has not expired).
I hope this answers your question about making the most of your theme park reservations at the Disneyland Resort, Alyssa. If you have follow-up questions, I'm in the mood to help you, dude! I’d love to share my favorite
tips or
suggestions for your next visit! All you gotta do is
rub that lamp and whisper what it is you want for me to make your planning wishes come true!
Wishing you happy landings!
Danielle
