Hi Kathleen,
Thanks so much for bringing your question to planDisney today! Please be my guest while I proudly present your dining reservation details.
Advance Dining Reservations open 60 days prior to arrival, and I've spent my fair share of early mornings working to secure those coveted meals at our favorite locations. I've been pretty lucky, even if it meant reserving a slightly different time slot than I originally intended. I love that you can easily modify most reservations if a more convenient window becomes available closer to your trip. Now that the cancellation deadline is 2 hours prior for many locations, I've actually found some great reservations on the same day of my visit!
If you're hoping to modify or
cancel an existing dining reservation you'll be able to do so right from the
My Disney Experience App. Simply navigate to the feature menu (≡) at the bottom right of the app, and select the tile for "Future Plans" in the left column. There, you'll see any dining reservations you've linked to your account. Click the appropriate reservation and select the "Cancel" link marked with a blue "x". If you want to change the date or time select the "Modify" link to search for other options. Keep in mind that certain dining experiences like
Cinderella's Royal Table, Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Review, Fireworks Dining Packages and select signature restaurants are subject to different modification/cancellation windows and policies. Be sure to review the details in your confirmation email to avoid any cancellation fees.
My family is slowly but surely working our way through the full menu of restaurants at Walt Disney World Resort, and love discovering new favorite dishes at each visit. If you happen to snag a reservation at
Cítricos, one of our family's favorites at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, be sure to order the Truffle Mac & Cheese from the Enhancements menu. My husband and I shared this alongside our entrees last year and are still dreaming about it. I've also heard excellent reviews about
Flying Fish, and
Beaches & Cream Soda Shop so we're looking forward to experiencing both on our upcoming July trip. I don't believe beef ragout, cheese souffle, or pie and pudding "en flambe" are on the menus, but I'm sure will enjoy our own culinary cabaret nonetheless.
I'm wishing you a feast full of fun and magic on your vacation. If we can answer any additional planning questions please don't hesitate to put our service to the test!
Bon appétit!
Amy
