Hi there, Linda! Thank you for bringing this great question to planDisney.
I'm thrilled to hear that you're making plans to visit
Walt Disney World Resort! But even with the most powerful magic wand and the most thoughtful planning, sometimes life takes a not-so-magical turn and plans need to be changed. Linda, I'd be happy to help you understand the cancellation policy for Walt Disney World Resort vacations!
When booking a
vacation package that includes tickets and a stay at a
Disney Resorts Collection hotel, Guests will pay a small deposit to secure the reservation. Guests can
cancel this vacation package 30 days or more prior to the arrival date and will receive a full refund (including the deposit) without penalty. Guests that cancel this vacation package 2 to 29 days prior to the arrival date will receive a refund for any amount paid, minus the deposit. If Guests cancel 1 day or less prior to the arrival date, the full price of the vacation package is non-refundable. Please note that any non-refundable items, such as fees through third-party supplies or non-refundable travel protection plan costs, will not be refunded. For more information, take a peek at the
terms and conditions.
Once you book your vacation package, be sure that you make your
theme park reservations with the Disney Park Pass system! This is an important step to reserve the parks you wish to visit on each day of your trip. And if you have any other questions, please write to us again – after all,
you've got a friend in me!
See ya real soon!
