Oh, bother! As much as I love a trip to
The Most Magical Place on Earth, sometimes we have to make the not-so-magical decision to cancel. I'm sorry to hear that you're currently in this situation, but as my friend Anna says, I'm happy to help you do "the next right thing!"
Mary, you will want to make sure you cancel any resort reservations as well as dining reservations. You will be able to cancel a resort reservation either
online or by phone, depending on the type of reservation you've made.
First, log into your account online. Hover your mouse over
My Disney Experience, then click on
My Plans. Scroll down until you view the reservations you've made. If you're able to cancel these reservations online, you'll see a Cancel Reservation button to click on the right. If you have multiple reservations (such as resort and dining reservations), you'll want to make sure you follow this process for each one.
If you don't see the Cancel Reservation option available, it would be a good idea to
speak to a Cast Member. They're a little like real-life fairy godparents who try to sprinkle some pixie dust into every situation! Please know that Cast Members will do everything they can to stretch their magic wands as far as they're able to reach. My best advice would be to call first thing in the morning when phone lines open since their magic can be in high demand.
