Is there any way to cancel and add on put on to a dining reservation? I added a cake at the blue bayou that I would like to take off if possible.

Hi there, Athena! Thank you for bringing this great question to planDisney.

You absolutely can't go wrong with any of the table-service restaurants at the Disneyland Resort. However, you just so happened to make an advance dining reservation at my favorite restaurant, for real life! Blue Bayou Restaurant is the perfect combination of delicious meals with a stunning, immersive theming – I mean, who wouldn't want to dine under the glow of lanterns while watching the Pirates of the Caribbean boats float by?!

Speaking of dining, if you guessed that I'm also a sucker for sweets – bingo! From muffins to ice cream to cakes, I enjoy it all. However, I see that you're looking to cancel the Mickey Mouse Celebration Cake that you added on to your reservation! Athena, I completely understand. With so many rich desserts you may want to try (hello, layered chocolate-coffee cake!) you might want to keep your options open. Thankfully, this change in plans doesn't have to be a real pickle!

After speaking with a Cast Member, she assured me that you will be able to cancel this cake add-on when you arrive for your Blue Bayou Restaurant reservation. Just let a Cast Member know that you changed your mind about the cake as you check in. Since you won't be charged for a Mickey Mouse Celebration Cake until the conclusion of your meal, you don't have to worry about your dollar bucks being spent on a cake you haven't eaten!

I hope you have the best time on your upcoming trip, Athena! If you have any other questions, please visit us again.

    See ya real soon!
