We are Canadians and are planning on visiting Disneyworld in October/November 2014 and then again in May 2015. the Annual pass, is it good from the first day you use it, or from January to December of the same year. And where do we purchase it.

Hi, Douglas! Sounds like you have a couple of great vacations in the planning stages! It is definitely worth purchasing an Annual Pass if you are going to visit Walt Disney World more than 10 days during a 365-day period.  When you purchase an Annual Pass, it will be valid from the first day it is USED (not just purchased) until one year from that date. Passes are not based on a January to December year but are valid for 365 days from the first day you use them. You can purchase them at any Guest Services location (including your Walt Disney World Resort, if you are staying on-site).  Be sure to learn about the discounts you will receive as an Annual Passholder!  Happy planning and have a Magical vacation!
