Hello, Linda and welcome to planDisney where we love to PLAY at the Walt Disney World Resort!
Linda, as the Mom of two Mouseketeers who need to run, jump and get out some energy while on vacation, I appreciate this question.
Currently as the Walt Disney World Resort is focused on enhanced health and safety measures, guests should hold an advanced dining reservation to visit another resort. Since your vacation is still a few months away, it’s possible that this policy will change, but for now I suggest considering a dining reservation coupled with some much needed playground time!
For example, a visit to
Disney’s Animal Kingdom Villas- Kidani Village for lunch or dinner at
Sanaa would be an adventurous day and your little one(s) could
enjoy the playground at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge before or after your meal! This resort has the added bonus of over 30 species of animals surrounding the property and Cast Members ready to educate and inform guests of all ages about the wildlife.
Another great Disney Resorts Collection hotel where you can enjoy dining with a view and playground time would be
Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort. A reservation at
Three Bridges Bar and Grill at Villa del Lago offers an open air ambience on the water and Spanish-inspired cuisine. Arrive early and enjoy the playground before dinner so that your entire party will have worked up an appetite!
Linda, I hope this gives you a few ideas that will spark a plan to enjoy another resort and playground. Keep a close watch on the
Disney Parks Blog as you just never know what Magical announcements are
just around the riverbend! If you have additional questions, please come on back to planDisney. Like the famous Minnie Mouse headbands, we are all EARS.
