does a campus 1 day park hopper tick need a park reservation?

    Hi Richard,

Welcome back to planDisney! We love seeing returning Guests and are happy to know you find planDisney a place for helpful advice in planning trips to Disney destinations!

It sounds like you have a ticket associated with a group that has arranged an experience with Disney Imagination Campus. Without knowing too much about the specifics of your ticket and group, I read through the ticket terms on the Imagination Campus website, and it does say that to enter a theme park, all Guests must have valid theme park admission and a park reservation. With a Park Hopper, you will be required to make a reservation and select a park where you will start your day - either Disneyland or California Adventure. After 11:00 AM, you will be able to hop between the two, subject to availability. It's important to note that tickets associated with Disney Imagination Campus are usually tied to a performance or workshop, and you will need to ensure your park reservation is the same day as your event. If the event is before 11:00 AM, you will also need to make your reservation for the same park where your event is taking place. Since my magic wand cannot reveal your account information, I'd recommend connecting with the Guest Services as well to ask them any specific questions you may have about your particular ticket - they will be happy to help you!

If you need to add your ticket to your account to make a reservation, simply tap the hamburger icon in the bottom right-hand corner of the app and select "My Tickets & Passes". From here, tap the "+" in the top right-hand corner to "Link Tickets & Passes" and choose "Type ID" to manually enter your ticket ID. Once your ticket appears in "My Tickets & Passes", you can make a theme park reservation by tapping the "+" in the bottom navigation bar and selecting "Make a Park Reservation". Follow the instructions from there, and you should be all set!

Richard, I sure hope this was helpful. If you have any more questions or you need another tip from me or my planDisney pals, we are always happy to lend a hand. You've got a friend in us!

    Magic awaits!
