Hi Marielle!
Welcome to planDisney! It's hard for me to not just jump right into your question and gush about how much you are going to love the
SoCal Resident Ticket. Three full days in the parks between now and May 15, 2025! What I love most about it is you can spread out your visits ... and the magic ... and take advantage of some limited-time special events. Before I get too far ahead of myself, let's make sure you and your friends are linked and ready to go.
From reading your question, it sounds like one friend purchased 3 SoCal tickets and another purchased 2 SoCal tickets, and you are wondering how to link them together or have access to them individually. I hope I have that right! First and foremost, everyone will want to download the
Disneyland Mobile App and create their own Disneyland account. Once that is complete, head into the app, tap the three-line icon in the bottom right-hand corner, and select "My Tickets & Passes". For the Guests who purchased the tickets, they should be visible here, and you can scroll left to see multiple tickets. From here, tap the "+" in the top right-hand corner, and you will see the option to "Link Tickets & Passes". If you are together in person, the friend who made the purchase would go to the ticket itself where the barcode is visible while the friend who needs the ticket would open up "Camera". A quick scan of the barcode and you will be linked faster than you can say Bibbidi Bobbidi Boo. If you are not together, the purchaser can send the ticket ID number found underneath each barcode, and the friend can select "Type ID" to manually enter it. This is the same process you would use to link the tickets for your full group so you can make Lightning Lanes selections together if you plan to purchase Lightning Lane Multi Pass.
Your theme park reservations are attached to the tickets themselves, so you do not need to link or send those separately. As long as each Guest has their own ticket in their account, they should not have an issue entering the parks. One thing to note with the SoCal Resident Tickets is to make sure everyone brings along their valid, government-issued photo ID reflecting their current address, essentially a Driver's License or California ID. This ticket is eligible for Guests who live with ZIP codes 90000 to 93599.
Ok, now back to all the fun you are going to have between now and May! You are arriving for the last weekend of the
Lunar New Year Celebration! Honoring the Year of the Snake and inspiring wishes of prosperity and joy for the year ahead, this is one of my favorite events of the year! Before the month is over, California Adventure will also kick off the
Food and Wine Festival (February 28 - April 21). In both cases, you'll want to explore a Sip and Savor Pass to snack your way through the day. You'll receive 6 vouchers that you can redeem for select food and non-alcoholic beverages throughout the festival marketplace. The best part is you can share or split these with your friends! Finally, if you have any Jedis in your group, over at Disneyland Park you'll want to be sure to visit during
Season of the Force (March 28 - May 11)!
Marielle, I sure hope this was helpful! Wishing you and your friends a magical three days in the parks! If you have any more questions, we're always here for you at planDisney.
See ya real soon!
