Hello, Liz! Thanks for stopping by planDisney with another question. I'm sure you're looking forward to your upcoming visit to Walt Disney World Resort. My family is staying at
The Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort this October and we are so excited!
If you'd like to enter
Magic Kingdom Park for a meal, you will need a theme park ticket. Currently, all Guests ages 3 and older must have a
theme park reservation, along with valid admission for the same park on the same date. Guests can easily make a theme park reservation through Disney Park Pass. There is a
"Know Before You Go" video on disneyworld.com with instructions on how to make a park reservation.
Liz, if you'd prefer to not purchase park tickets you could always make dining reservations at a location close to Magic Kingdom such as
California Grill at Disney's Contemporary Resort. Our family visited Walt Disney World last summer and had a nice breakfast at
Chef Mickey's during our stay at Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort. While
advance dining reservations are highly recommended, you're welcome to visit the location as a walk up.
Before your visit in August, be sure to check out the
latest updates about Resort services, amenities, dining, transportation, check-in, and more. You should also read through the
updated health and safety measures in place at Walt Disney World.
Please let us know if we can assist you with any other questions as you continue to plan your visit to Walt Disney World Resort.
Have a magical day!
Bob
