If I have a campground tent site reservation, can I park in the campground front parking lot the day of my reservation before 3pm check-in, go to a park, and then come back and take my car later on after 3pm, check in, and drive to the campsite spot?

Welcome to planDisney, Matthew! It sounds like your visit to the Walt Disney World Resort is just a few short weeks away! Hooray! You are going to have the best time during your stay at The Campsites at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort.

There's lots of parking at the entrance of the Fort! When you do check in, you may be pleasantly surprised to find out that your site is ready for you. It's always good to ask! This way you can park at your site. Otherwise, just let a Cast Member know you will be parking your vehicle at the Resort before your check in and you will be good to go!

One of the many benefits of staying on site begins on the day you check in. You can also drive to the theme park of your choice and enjoy complimentary parking!

There's so much to do at this special campground! Be sure to take a look at the recreational activities available at the Resort. I have found that you can very happily spend a whole day at Fort Wilderness swimming in the pool or taking a guided tour of the grounds.

Matthew, I hope I’ve been helpful. Please feel free to come back to see us if you have any more planning questions. It's always our pleasure to help you with all the details!
