Can you do the camp fire and s’mores at Disney fort wilderness? Is the chip and dale sing along available?

Hiya, Maribeth! I'm so glad you followed the trail of pixie dust that Tinker Bell left for you and found us here at planDisney.

It looks like your trip to Walt Disney World Resort is just around the riverbend and I couldn't be more excited for you! You're sure to find surprises around every corner during The World's Most Magical Celebration. Be sure to check out all of the Beacons of Magic in each of the parks, and see if you can discover all the golden statues of the Disney Fab 50 Character Collection

Maribeth, one of my favorite places to visit is Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort. At the end of a magical day, there's nothing like heading to the great outdoors to unwind! I love sitting beneath the towering pines and soaking in the glow of a flickering bonfire. I'm happy to let you know that when I spoke to a Cast Member today, it looks like the Chip 'n' Dale Campfire Sing-A-Long is indeed taking place at The Campsites at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort from 6:30 - 7:30 PM every evening! You'll be able to sing with your furry friends as you warm up by the fire and feast on freshly-roasted s'mores. What could be better than that?! Well Maribeth, I'm glad you asked - and I'm happy to tell you!

While you're at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort, you can check out the horses at the amazing Tri-Circle-D Ranch! I was able to visit with a group of friends last December and it was one of the highlights of my trip. You can also enjoy a hearty Frontier dinner by making a reservation at Trail's End Restaurant for everything from a pecan-smoked brisket to an ice cream sundae, topped with chocolate-covered BACON! For something a little quicker, check out P & J's Southern Takeout. You won't be disappointed by the fried chicken and macaroni & cheese!

As availability can sometimes change, I'd recommend contacting Disney's Fort Wilderness prior to your trip if seeing Chip 'n' Dale is something your heart is set on. However, no matter if our furry friends come out to play or not, there will still be a campfire and s'mores to warm your hands and your heart, respectively! You'll even be able to purchase a s'mores kit from the small truck located nearby. So it sounds like everything is ready - we're just waiting for you!

Maribeth, I hope you have the most magical trip filled with new and exciting experiences. If you have any other questions, be sure to visit us again! After all, you've got a friend in me.

    See ya real soon!
