Hi there, Linda! Welcome to planDisney. No matter the time of year when you’re at the parks, it’s always essential to stay hydrated for rope dropping and park hopping to your favorite attractions. I’d love to assist you in figuring out what reusable water bottles are best to bring to The Happiest Place on Earth.
As I’m reading through the Prohibited Items List under
Disneyland’s Park Rules and Regulations, Camelback water bags appear to be good to go as long as they are no larger than 24" long x 15" wide x 18" high (61 cm x 38 cm x 46 cm). Feel free to bring your Camelback along with you on your next park visit! In addition, you can also bring in your 40 oz metal water bottle. That is usually my go to when I head to the parks with my family. We like to bring a couple of these and refill them throughout the day at the various
bottle filling stations. Whenever I dine at a quick service location like
Flo’s V8 Cafe or
Alien Pizza Planet, I like to grab a cup of water to refill my bottle to avoid running empty as I make my way to my next attraction!
With those spring days bringing us warmer weather, did you know you can also bring your own drinks and food into the parks? You can
bring in food and nonalcoholic beverages as long as it doesn’t require reheating, processing, or refrigerating, doesn’t have a pungent smell, and is not kept in a glass container. I love to bring in my son’s favorite snacks like fruit, crackers, and pouches just to have on hand, especially when we wait in line or are taking a quick break. He can go from happy to hangry in a matter of minutes, so it’s always best to be prepared! I also enjoy bringing in those cartons of coconut water for extra hydration when that Californian sun starts to soar high in the sky.
Linda, thank you so much for visiting planDisney. I hope this clarifies your packing list for your upcoming visit. Stay hydrated and if you need any more help in planning, planDisney is always here for you!
With a Sprinkle of Pixie Dust,
Bev
