Are camelback hydration packs allowed in the park at this time? I know in the past I could use it. Not sure if this policy has changed with the pandemic. Thanks.

    Hi Nathan,

I'm so happy to hear that you're planning a getaway to The Most Magical Place on Earth, and would be happy to help you decide what to pack!

With the hot, Florida sun, staying hydrated is definitely important while visiting Walt Disney World Resort. I'm happy to let you know that yes, hydration backpacks are still allowed! If you check the park rules, you'll see that backpacks larger than 24" x 15" x 18" are prohibited, as is any loose ice or alcohol, but otherwise, yes, feel free to bring your CamelBak with you!

As you mentioned, there are some aspects of a Disney vacation that feel a little different now. I found the Know Before You Go pages to be super helpful as I was preparing for my own trip back after the reopening, and hope you will too. Most importantly, I'm happy to share that my family felt very safe, had a wonderful time, and loved being back in our happy place again. The magic and fun are definitely there and ready for YOU!

Thanks so much for stopping by planDisney, Nathan, and please feel free to come see us again with any other Disney-planning questions you may have. I hope you have a truly magical vacation!
