I called to make a reservation for the Pirates League and they gave me a time of 9:40am. She assures me I had enough time to get there from my 8:20 reservation at Chef Mickey's. I wasn't so sure. Could you give me your advice?

Hi Jennifer! I'm with you! A meal at Chef Mickey's is not inexpensive, and I wouldn't want you rushing through it and stressing out about making your Pirates League reservation. Character meals generally take about an hour, but if the restaurant is particularly busy, you may have to wait a bit to be seated and it may take a little longer for all of the characters to visit your table. After breakfast, you'll have to take the monorail over to the Magic Kingdom, proceed through the bag check and ticket turnstiles, and walk to The Pirates League. Doing all of that may take 30 minutes or more, so I think it's unlikely you could reach The Pirates League on time unless you cut your Chef Mickey's breakfast short, and you don't want to do that.  I recommend that you move your Pirates League reservation back to 10 a.m. or later so you can enjoy breakfast without worrying about getting there on time.

You're planning a super fun morning -- my family always has such a good time at both Chef Mickey's and The Pirates League! Come visit us again at the Moms Panel if you have more questions! We're happy to help!
