Can we call in advance to the resort and request a specific room?

Yes you can make requests for specific resort areas, buildings or rooms. Requests are not guaranteed, but Disney does make an effort to accommodate guests whenever possible.

Making a room request is a two-step process. First, call Disney reservations at 407-W-DISNEY and have them make a note on your file. Then, about a week before your trip, you should follow up with the hotel itself. Moms Panelist Bret does a great job explaining how to do this HERE.

Good luck and enjoy your visit to Walt Disney World.
