Well hello there, Cam!
Welcome to planDisney! It is my honor to answer your question about the Southern California Resident Ticket offer today. As you know, Disney Princesses love to make dreams come true, and as our friend Princess Tiana says, “my dream wouldn't be complete without you in it”.
I'm happy to tell you that the
Southern California Resident Ticket offer is a great deal for those of us who live nearby. Even though I am a Magic Key holder, I have already used this offer twice this year: once for my Prince to join me and our little Mouseketeer to enjoy family days at the resort, and once for me to visit on days that my
Imagine Key was blocked out.
Now, let's talk about those ticket requirements. As a resident of Southern California, you'll need to bring a valid government-issued photo ID to prove your residency within Southern California ZIP codes 90000-93599 or Northern Baja California postal codes 21000-22999.
So, just to clarify, when you visit the resort and scan into one of the parks using the Southern California resident ticket, you will need to provide proof of residency. It might depend on who's checking tickets at the entrance, but the offer rules say that "proof of qualified residency, which includes a government-issued photo ID, is mandatory for both purchase and admission." So, it’s a good idea to make sure you
have a California Driver's License or valid passport with your new address on it so that nothing can stand in your way. Blue skies and sunshine, guaranteed!
Cam, I know this wasn’t the news you wanted to read today, but now that you know exactly where you're going, you're getting closer and closer every day! Who knows, maybe we'll bump into each other at the resort soon! I'm wishing you all the
sweetness goin' 'round, and make sure to
hop on back to me if you think of any more questions about visiting
The Happiest Place On Earth.
Good things are sure to come your way!
