    Hello, I am a California resident. My sister is visiting from out of state and wants to take my kids to Disneyland. Can I buy my children resident tickets even if I don’t come?Their aunt will buy a regular ticket. Will the kids need proof of residency?

    Sounds like your sister is up for some adventure on her visit! Taking my niece to Disneyland is one of my favorite things, so I love hearing when others like to spend quality time at the Happiest Place on Earth!

    There are definitely perks to being a Southern California resident! As a reminder, the Southern California Resident Ticket Offer is valid for guests that reside within zip codes 90000 to 93599 and all adult guests using these tickets must have a valid government-issued photo ID showing their residency. However, from my experience, children are not required to show ID at the parks for proof of residency.

    Make sure to check park availability to ensure the dates are open for all ticket types. They'll be visiting during Star Wars Season of the Force and Pixar Fest! There will be many things to see and experience, including new daytime entertainment at Disney California Adventure Park.
