Hi Stephen,
Thanks so much for stopping by planDisney with your great question! It's such an exciting time now that "The Happiest Place on Earth" is open again!
I know you must be looking forward to experiencing the magic and fun with all of your loved ones, but at this point,
only California residents are able to visit the theme parks. Proof of residency may be required, so your fellow Mouseketeers from Washington, DC will need to wait a bit longer until they're able to join you at Disneyland Resort. While we don't know yet when that will be, I'd recommend keeping an eye on the
Disney Parks Blog for announcements and updates.
As you're planning your visit for the three of you, I'd encourage you to check out the super helpful
Know Before You Go pages for information about what to expect during your upcoming visit. Please note that one major change is that
park reservations are now required for admission in addition to valid
theme park tickets. I'd encourage you to check the
availability calendar before you purchase your tickets, then be sure to make your reservations as soon as you complete your purchase to make sure your spots in the parks are guaranteed.
While some things do feel a bit different, Stephen, I assure you that the magic is alive and ready for you, and I hope you have a truly magical visit!
Missy
