Welcome to planDisney, Richard!
Thanks for stopping by with a question for us.
I love that you’re planning an enchanting trip to The Happiest Place on Earth! When I first hEARd Disneyland Resort would be
welcoming back residents of The Golden State, I was smiling EAR to EAR for my friends living in California!
Richard, currently, residents of California can make
theme park reservations required to enter the Theme Parks. These are linked through a Guest’s
Disney account, which should be associated with a California address. If you have a California address linked to your
Disney account, you should be able to make your reservations. Guests may be asked to provide additional proof of residency once there, so I would encourage you to bring along a utility bill addressed to your California residence with an ID that matches the name on the statement.
This Texan gal will be patiently waiting for good news about California opening up for out-of-state Guests, but until then, I’ll be happy to keep up with the latest news from
Disney Parks Blog and encourage you to do the same!
I hope you have an enchanting time, Richard.
