Hi we are going to california adventures and disneyland in December 29th and 30th but 2 of my guest arrive the day off the 29th in the evening but I have the tickets how do I make sure they won't be scanned when we get to the park early?

Welcome to planDisney, Elizabeth. We're so glad you're here and brought this question to us. A visit during the Holidays at the Disneyland Resort is going to be extra magical. Let's get to your question and make sure you're all set.

I have a couple of suggestions for your upcoming visit, Elizabeth. If you purchased the tickets at the Disneyland site, you may have entered each individual's name who will be using a park ticket. If that's the case, each ticket will have a name assigned to it. You can double-check this in the Disneyland app by tapping the "☰" to open the menu, followed by "Tickets and Passes." Here you will see each ticket purchased under your account with the person's name at the top to keep things organized. If they all have your name at the top, it's not a problem. You can reach out to a friendly Cast Member at the Tickets phone line to assist with changing the names for each ticket.

While the names don't matter (aside from organization help), another option is to have those in your group who will be joining you later, add their own tickets to their phone in the Disneyland app. This can be done by opening the menu (☰) and tapping on the "Tickets and Passes" tile. Next, tap the "+" in the top right corner followed by "Link Tickets & Passes." You can share the ticket ID number (located below the barcode) for their tickets and they can manually enter them using the "Type ID" option. Once the tickets have been added to their phones, you can remove their tickets from your phone in the Disneyland app. Access all the tickets in the app, scroll over to the tickets you'd like to remove and there will be an option to either remove or delete each ticket.

Your visit will be here before you know it and I know you will have such a wonderful time. One of my favorite things to do during the holidays is visit the Disney Festival of Holidays at Disney California Adventure Park. Eating is one of my favorite things to do when visiting the Disneyland Resort and this festival gives me the chance to enjoy eats from other cultures while enjoying how the holidays are celebrated in these diverse cultures.

Elizabeth, I hope I was able to give you some ideas to keep your tickets organized for your upcoming trip. If there's anything else you are curious about before your stay, please come back to ask us.

    See ya real soon,
    Michelle
