    Is there a calendar of special events for January 2023?

    Welcome to planDisney! 

    How exciting that you are visiting in January 2023! January is a great time of year to visit because the crowds are low and the weather is mild!

    Walt Disney World has a special event calendar online that will show all of the special events planned for the month. You will notice that the January 2023 calendar is not yet released, but it should be coming out soon. Keep an eye on the site and the Disney Parks Blog for announcements about what's to come in 2023. You can also review the Walt Disney World daily calendar online for park hours, fireworks shows, and parade times.

    One big event that is occurring in January 2023 is the Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend! This event will be held from January 5-8, so it won't affect your visit on January 22. The EPCOT International Festival of the Arts is also typically held in January and you won't want to miss this annual event. You can enjoy food from around the world as well as artwork, special merchandise, and concerts.
