When will the calendar of events for October 2008 be posted on-line? Will the early opening/late closing hours be included as well as the special events such as dates of Mickey's Scary Halloween Party and day and evening parades/fireworks times/places?

    Kathleen,

The calendar page is generally updated so that you can view the park schedules 6 months in advance.  If that holds true, then you should be able to see the October schedule in April.

The calendar will show Extra Magic Hours (EMH) for Disney resort guests.  It will also show special events like Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party (MNSSHP), but not easily.  To find dates and order tickets for that, you'll need to check here.  Dates have not yet been released and I'm not sure when they will be.  I know last year we purchased our tickets in July, but as for when they actually went on sale I'm not sure.

The calendar will also show you parade and nighttime show schedules.  These will be located in the same place as the information about special hard ticketed events like the halloween party.  See these times by clicking on each individual date of your trip.  The link will display parade and show times that day, special event information, and other important notes for that day.

I hope this help your planning!
