We like the cabins as we enjoy the outdoors but they look like they are far from everything. If we don't have a car will we be able to get around easy?

    Hey Howdy Hey Marge,

Thanks for stopping back to see us at planDisney with this great question. What a great Disney Resorts Collection choice! The Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort is a perfect choice for those that love the outdoors and spending time with nature. Tucked away on hundreds of acres of wooded lots, you can wander the trails, cruise around on a golf cart, splash around in the pool, spend a little time visiting the beautiful horses, or simply enjoy the wildlife while sitting on your cabin porch. It is so peaceful that it is hard to believe you are just minutes away from Magic Kingdom.

The great news is you will have no problem getting to the theme parks, waterparks and Disney Springs with use of the complimentary Resort Transportation. The resort area is quite large but there is an internal bus that you can use to get from your cabin or campsite to either the Outpost Depot or Settlement Depot. If you are heading to Disney's Hollywood Studios, EPCOT, Disney's Animal Kingdom or Disney Springs, you will want to head to the Outpost Depot where you can take a bus to your desired location. If Magic Kingdom is in your plans, take the internal bus to the Settlement Depot which is then a short walk to the marina. Here you will grab a boat to Magic Kingdom. If you are looking to move around the resort area itself to enjoy the pool or perhaps head to the Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue, you can utilize the internal bus or many Guests rent a golf cart to use.

I will mention that Halloween time is an extremely popular time at this resort. Many Guests return here yearly and go all out to decorate their cabins and campsites for the Halloween holiday. If you have not looked into making reservations yet, I strongly suggest doing that as soon as possible. I hope this information helps get you where you need to go. If I can help with any additional planning questions, please stop back and see me

Hope to see ya real soon,
