Hi Steven,
Welcome aboard planDisney! We are glad you brought your question to us.
You and I are on the same wavelength with a
Disney Cruise Line vacation to
Alaska on our wish list! After hearing so many wonderful things about
Alaskan Port Adventures from my fellow planDisney panelist, Cathy S. on the
planDisney Podcast, I keep pushing the idea to the top of the list. It sounds like you are ready to check it off yours, so let’s talk planning!
Currently, the Disney Wonder sails to Alaska. She is one of my favorite Disney Cruise Ships! You will be completely enthralled with
Disney Dreams – An Enchanted Classic, an amazing live-stage show you won’t want to miss. And you are always welcome at
Tiana’s Place, my favorite of the Rotational Dining options aboard the Disney Wonder. The singing and dancing are just as spectacular as the menu!
Now, as I understand it, you are wondering if four adults and two children can be accommodated in one stateroom. The answer is yes, depending on which
stateroom category you select.
Concierge 2-Bedroom Suite with Verandah and Concierge Royal Suite with Verandah sleep up to seven Guests. Your other option is to consider booking two
connecting staterooms. There are a limited number of connecting rooms on the Disney Wonder, and you can view them on the locator deck plan when searching for a specific cruise. Most of the connecting rooms aboard the Disney Wonder sleep anywhere from three to five Guests, depending on the category you select.
One thing to note is that no matter the age of the Guest, each person occupying the room counts toward the Guest count. If you have two children under the age of five, they still count as two Guests in a stateroom.
I hope this information helps you plan your Alaskan adventure, Steven! As you continue planning, please sail back by with other questions you may have. Several of my fellow panelists have recently returned from Alaskan cruises aboard the Disney Wonder, and they have lots of tips to share!
Wishing you many magical memories,
Shannon
