We have a cabin booked at Disneys Fort Wilderness where I’ll be staying with my brothers family. He has warned me the kids wake up through the night. I have a Roofnest clamshell model on top of my car. Is it possible to pop it up if sleeping is an issue?

    Howdy, Sean! Welcome to planDisney!

You just so happen to be staying at one of my favorite places – The Campsites at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort! There is nothing like spending a fun-filled day in the parks, then heading back "home" to camp under the stars. You're coming at the most wonderful time of year, too, with so many holiday favorites returning to Walt Disney World Resort! Be sure to check out all of the festive fun and seasonal snacks available to you and your travel party.

Sean, the tent or pop-up campsites at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground can accommodate up to two tents. After speaking with a Cast Member, she told me that your Roofnest clamshell should be absolutely fine for you to use, as long as it is secured properly and as intended, without any risk of falling. With that being said, I hope you have a wonderful time camping with your brother and his family!

I also think you'll appreciate taking a little time to download and explore the My Disney Experience app prior to your arrival. You'll be able to check wait times for attractions, view park maps, and even mobile order food. I love ordering a comfort meal from P & J's Southern Takeout on the way back from the parks so it's ready and waiting for me, right when I want it to be!

If you have any other questions, come back and visit us again. After all, you've got a friend in me!

    Ride like the wind, Bullseye!
