¡Hola, Neil! Welcome to planDisney, thanks for your question, we are here to help!
I am so excited to read that you plan on visiting Walt Disney World Resort very soon, and since your last visit, a lot of things have changed. As of January 1, 2022,
Disney's Magical Express is no longer an option to get to and from Orlando International Airport. However, there are other options that you can choose from. You can make reservations for a
MEARS Connect shuttle (call (407) 422-2222, keep in mind international phone rates may apply), rent a car, or you can opt for a rideshare service, such as Uber or Lyft.
Let's talk about theme park tickets next. Neil, you now have to make theme park pass reservations to enter the theme parks, even if you have tickets. You can do this by logging into your
Disney account on your computer, or through the My Disney Experience app. First, check the theme park reservation availability calendar, and see what theme parks are open for the days you plan on visiting. If the dates are green, that means all 4 theme parks have availability, if it is yellow, one or more of the theme parks are full. If the date is gray, that means all 4 parks have no availability. Log in to your account next, and follow the steps under "Disney Park Pass System" in My Disney Experience to reserve your theme park reservation passes. The
Park Hopper is still an option you can add to your ticket, however, you cannot visit your second theme park until 2 PM. Keep in mind visiting the second theme park is subject to park capacity limitations.
Neil, I hope all of this information helps you with planning your Walt Disney World vacation. Enjoy your visit next month!
Frances
