Oh, boy! What a pixie-dusted crew you've got heading to Walt Disney World! November is a terrific time to visit. I noticed that Disney just released a
Festival Foodie Guide letting guests know what to expect at this year's EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival. Hopefully sampling some of these delicious-looking options works into your plans!
First off, if you will be staying at a Disney Resort your eligibility to purchase
Lightning Lanes will open up 7 days prior to your check-in date, starting at 7 AM Eastern Time. If you'll be an offsite guest, it's 3 days prior to arrival. I find the easiest way to purchase Lightning Lane passes is from inside the
My Disney Experience app. You'll want to make sure that you've got everyone in your party linked under My Family & Friends.
Got a few wild riders, and a few milder riders in your family? Here's how this will work when purchasing Lightning Lane Multi Passes for your party. After selecting a park and guests to purchase a pass for, you'll be required to select 3 attractions. At this point, those three reservations will be for everyone you've selected. There are a couple of options for switching this up.
- If your family can agree on two different sets of Multi Pass options, you could make two separate Lightning Lane Multi Pass purchases. One for your Wild Crew (and their top 3 selections), and one for your Mild Crew (with a different 3 selections).
- Or if everyone's preferences will be even more varied than that, you can always start by purchasing a Lighting Lane Multi Pass for everyone... and then just modify individual Lightning Lane passes (based on availability). My friend Eean does a great job of describing how to modify Lightning Lane selections for just some guests in your party.
The awesome thing about Lightning Lane Multi Pass is that as soon as you tap in to an attraction, you can hop on the app and reserve another selection (again, based on availability). I'd recommend a few of your family members are also set up with the My Disney Experience app so they can manage their own plans in this way.
