Hello, April!
Welcome to planDisney. It sounds like you might already be on-site at Walt Disney World Resort, and if so, I'm happy to help!
If you've purchased a
2-day standard theme park ticket, you should be eligible to upgrade to include the
Park Hopper Option. I love park hopping on shorter visits, as it lets me experience my favorites across a few parks without committing to multiple full days at each. Sounds like you have a similar plan, and while you can certainly
speak to a Cast Member by phone or visit the ticket window at any park to process the upgrade, there are a few things to keep in mind.
Any upgrades will be priced based on the length of the ticket, as
my pal Jessica explains here. Unfortunately, you will not be able to upgrade just one day on a multi-day ticket. The good news is that you can take advantage of visiting multiple parks on both days of your trip if you like, but you can still choose to spend the whole day at the same park if that better suits your touring style. I recommend upgrading as early as possible so you have the option on both days of your visit.
I know this is likely not the answer you wanted, but if you review the current pricing for a 1-day single park ticket and a separate 1-day Park Hopper Option ticket, you might find the pricing isn't much different than upgrading to a 2-day hopper. The longer your ticket, the less expensive each individual day ends up being.
I hope this helps you make the right plan for your schedule and budget, April. If we can answer any additional questions, please come right back and let us know.
Magic and memories,
Amy
