Want to buy travel insurance for a trip to Aulani in Sept 2021. The form is asking for an agent code. Where would I find that?

    Aloha Maurice!

Thanks for stopping by planDisney! Travel insurance is usually a good idea, and with Covid-19 still playing a part in each of our lives, I think you are wise to add it to your September visit. There is a lot that can change between now and then. Pay special attention to State of Hawaii rules for visitors from the mainland, especially in regards to pre-arrival Covid-19 testing. We are planning a visit to Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa in June, and I am also keeping a close eye on the situation.

Since I am not sure exactly what company you are using for Travel Insurance, it’s hard for me to know what agent number they are looking for. There is an outside company called Aon Affinity that partners directly with Aulani to provide a Travel Protection Plan. Their contact number can be found on the Aulani Travel Protection Plan page, and they could assist you with booking your insurance. You can easily add this Travel Protection Plan directly when you book your room, and it shows up as an option to add before payment. You can also add this plan anytime prior to final payment on your trip by calling Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa. Their phone number is also found on the Travel Protection Plan page. Click where it says, “Read More” under the Frequently Asked Question about the Travel Protection Plan to open up those details.

If you are using an alternate company and booking your own travel insurance, I suspect they are asking either for a travel agent code or the code for their own sales agent. If you haven’t already, try leaving that space blank and see if the page will let you continue. If you are unable to continue, you may need to call that company to inquire. To my knowledge, there isn’t an agent code for standard Guest bookings. It could be this company only sells directly to travel agents.

I hope one of these ideas helps you to get your travel insurance figured out quickly and easily, Maurice. Sending you pixie dust for a smooth visit to Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa, and no need to use your travel insurance!
