Hi there, Lauren!
Welcome to planDisney. It's nice seeing fellow Texans on here! From all of us at planDisney, thank you for your family's service! The
Disney Military Salute tickets are available to service members on active duty, who are retired, or 100% disabled, as well as uniformed officers of the USPHS and NOAA. The service member (or spouse) can purchase up to 6 Salute tickets per year. I purchased three Salute tickets this year, which means my husband (or myself) can purchase three more for the year.
When you purchase your tickets, you will receive an email with a Disney Reservation # on it. You will use that to link all the tickets to everyone traveling with you on the My Disney Experience app. Once tickets are linked, you will have to make Theme Park Reservations. Once you arrive at Walt Disney World Resort, stop by Guest Relations at one of the theme parks, or the
Disney Ticket Center at Disney Springs to activate the tickets with military ID. Once this step is complete, you can enter the theme parks! I like activating mine at Disney Springs the day we arrive, which gives me the perfect excuse to stop by
Gideon's Bakehouse and
The Ganachery and pick up sweet treats to enjoy during our visits!
At Guest Relations, ask about the military discount for Memory Maker! Memory Maker will give you all the digital images of all the photos you take throughout your visit. It is priced at $98 for the military (subject to change) and it's also a great way to get your holiday card photo in!
Lauren, thank you for stopping by planDisney! If you need additional pixie dust planning your visit, you can
send me questions at any time. Happy Planning!
Magic Awaits!
Frances
