Hey there, hi there, Amanda! Boy oh boy, your arrival date is coming up pretty quickly, so let's get right to it with the answer to your really great question.
As you noted, when you visit
Walt Disney World and want to head into one of the
four theme parks, you do need a
theme park reservation. Theme park tickets, though, are not specific to any one park, so just purchasing a ticket won't guarantee a park reservation. You have to purchase your ticket first, make sure it's linked to your
My Disney Experience app, and then book your theme park reservation.
You can check
park ticket availability before you purchase your tickets to see if the park you want to visit has reservation space remaining. I did a quick check for you just now, Amanda, and it looks like your arrival date and the dates for the week following are good to go for any of the theme parks.
You're visiting at a super exciting time, Amanda! With the
50th Anniversary Celebration underway, you'll find some EARidescent magic around every corner, from decorations to food. There are awesome new attractions, like
Remy's Ratatouille Adventure at EPCOT, and brand-new nighttime shows to enjoy. It's a world full of magic!
If there's anything else we can help you with, Amanda, come on back and see us. I wish you happy planning and an even happier visit!
Anna
