If I buy tickets for a park (not lodging) and also make my reservation... What is the cancelation policy? And is there an option to reschedule our date? If so, what is the policy around rescheduling?

Hey there, hi there Melinda! Thanks so much for your question.

Once you buy Walt Disney World theme park tickets, those tickets are non-refundable, so there isn't a way to cancel the tickets. You can, however, cancel a theme park reservation and reschedule your tickets. You will want to cancel your reservation at least by the day before, but let's work through how you can reschedule your tickets.

The first thing you want to do is check the Theme Park Reservation Availability Calendar to make sure the dates you want are open. Go into your My Disney Experience app next. You should see a button that says "Tickets and Passes" - click on that button. Select your current ticket, then click "change ticket." You can use the calendar to reschedule your tickets.

Don't forget, Melinda, after you've changed your ticket, you want to go back and make your new theme park reservations. And if you hit any glitches at all in this process, you can call a super helpful Cast Member at 407- 934-7639. They can either walk you through the process or help make it happen from their end.

I do hope you don't end up having to cancel your visit, Melinda! With the 50th Anniversary festivities going on, it's a great time to head to Walt Disney World.
