Hi Patrice! Welcome to planDisney!
You're on your way to a busy but magical day when you spend the morning running through Adventureland and the evening trick-or-treating down Main Street U.S.A.!
Magic Kingdom is one of my favorite places in the world and I love how it transforms between night and day, especially when there is a special event like
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party going on!
Since Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is a special event full of eerie entertainment, all Guests who wish to stay in Magic Kingdom for the party are required to purchase a Special Event Ticket, which is a separate purchase from your
Standard Theme Park Ticket. Prices for each party day are listed on the Walt Disney World Resort website when you click
"Purchase Tickets" on Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party page. Ticket prices remain the same for all Guests attending the Special Event, whether they spend the earlier portion of the day in the Park or not.
Because of the extra Halloween happenings that surround Guests throughout the Party I think you'll find that the event itself is worth it and full of frightful fun. Try not to miss outstanding entertainment like
Mickey's Boo-To-You Halloween Parade,
Disney's Not-So-Spooky Spectacular, and
Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular, and definitely plan on making time to see some of your favorite character pals all dressed up in their own creative costumes. One of my favorite parts of any special event at Walt Disney World is the fact that lines for some of my favorite attractions tend to be so much shorter! If you plan on staying until the end of the party you'll find that you've never seen the Park look quite so empty. It is truly a magical way to end the day!
Enjoy getting "spooked" and feel free to come and see us again if you have any other Disney planning questions!
